Vispi J Vesuna

Mr Vispi Vesuna plays a critical role in safeguarding and managing the assets held in trust for the beneficiaries. With over three decades of experience in sales and marketing of industrial consumer products and services, as well as a Commerce degree from Mumbai University and a Diploma in Management Studies, Mr Vesuna brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. His commitment to the organization and its beneficiaries, combined with his strategic insights and leadership, make him a valuable asset to the team of trustees.

Dr. Jagmeet Kaur Chawla

Board Member

Dr Jagmeet Kaur Chawla, a developmental and adolescent paediatrician and child counsellor, is one of the founding directors of Aadhaar Centre — established in 2004 to support child development and psychological counselling. The centre works with the vision of empowering every individual to discover their inherent potential and live a life of dignity and pride.
She serves as an expert faculty member for Advocacy and Capacity Building programmes with organisations such as UNFPA, UNICEF, NHM, MPSATS, IGNOU, and WaterAid, among others. She is also a frequent speaker at advocacy sessions for parents, teachers, and principals across schools and colleges in Bhopal and other cities.

Dr. Karunesh Kumar Shukla

Board Member

Dr. Karunesh Kumar Shukla is the Director of MANIT Bhopal and previously served as Director of NIT Jamshedpur for over five years. He completed his PhD at IIT Delhi in 2001 under the QIP program, where he was a research scholar from 1997 to 2000.
He began his academic career in 1988 as a lecturer and has also been a visiting research fellow at Feng Chia University, Taiwan. His research interests include computational mechanics, composite structures, stability and dynamics of structures, retrofitting, and nanocomposites. He has also provided consultancy services in structural design and material testing, as well as guided 15 PhD scholars and published over 80 journal papers.

Dr. Sanjay Jain, Joint Secretary of Bansal Group of Institutes, Bhopal, is an Electronics Engineer with over two decades of experience in the field of education. In his leadership role, he drives academic and administrative excellence, shaping policies that align the institutes with evolving technology and industry trends. A frequent chief guest and speaker at academic forums, webinars, and research events, his work is defined by a strong commitment to holistic education and institutional advancement.

Pankaj K. Dhawan is the proprietor of Pankaj Construction, established in 1989 in Nagpur. With decades of experience in residential and commercial development, he has successfully delivered multiple high-quality projects, combining entrepreneurial expertise with a vision for societal development. Mr. Dhawan brings his expertise in business strategy, project planning, infrastructure development and stakeholder engagement to the Advisory Board. Supporting school growth, facilities planning and community outreach, Mr. Dhawan’s vision is to build lasting foundations that strengthen our community for generations to come.

Prof. Dr. Satish Deopujari

Dr. Satish Deopujari is a practising paediatrician, passionate educator, and entrepreneur dedicated to redefining healthcare delivery in India. As the Founder Chairman of the National Pediatric Critical Care Conference (India), he continues to drive innovation at the intersection of medicine, technology, and education. He also developed the world’s first iWatch app for critical care management of ventilated patients, leveraging Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) diagnostics. His pioneering research was presented at the University of Rochester and Johns Hopkins University, USA, earning him the prestigious ‘Master Physician Educator’ award from Rochester University. Beyond innovation, he has collaborated with diverse communities — from rural India to leading global experts — to design impactful medical and technological solutions that improve lives.

Sudhir Chawla

Sudhir Chawla is the owner of Chawla Sarees Depot Pvt Ltd., a long-standing textile business in Nagpur operating since 1971. Known for blending traditional values with modern business practices, he brings a deep understanding of retail and supply chain management to the Advisory Board. Mr. Chawla also holds expertise in wholesale management, operational strategy, customer engagement and local market insights. Drawing on his decades of industry experience, he guides operational growth and community initiatives that preserve cultural heritage while embracing progress. His vision is to empower the next generation to uphold tradition while driving innovation.
